Youth Sports
YMCA Youth Sports help children build confidence, learn teamwork, and develop lifelong skills. From basketball and tumbling to martial arts and enrichment programs, kids have the opportunity to stay active, healthy, and engaged in a safe and supportive environment.
Basketball
YMCA Basketball helps young players build skills, understand the game, and discover the joy of staying active in a supportive, team-centered environment. Guided by caring volunteer coaches, participants learn sportsmanship, confidence, and the value of working together; both on and off the court. With all practices and games held at the Y, youth gain a safe place to grow, make friends, and have fun while developing healthy habits that last a lifetime. Each team is coached by volunteer parents and community members. Coaches will focus on participation, sportsmanship, and staying active. We will try to accommodate team and/or coach requests; however special requests are not guaranteed. Interested in being a volunteer coach? Please fill out a Volunteer Packet, available at the Front Desk or on our website

With supportive instructors and a fun, encouraging environment, kids learn not only how to tumble, but how to believe in themselves and celebrate steady growth.
