Swim Teams
YMCA Swim Teams provide youth with opportunities to train, compete, and grow in a supportive environment. Our programs foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development both in and out of the pool.
LAST (learn about swim) team
L.A.S.T. helps emerging swimmers build confidence and sharpen technique as they take their next step toward competitive swimming. Designed for youth who have completed Stroke Development and can confidently swim 25 yards of front and back crawl, this program teaches structured workouts, racing starts, flip turns and skill building drills in a supportive, team-focused environment.
Participants will grow in discipline, perseverance, and self confidence while discovering the joy of working toward shared goals. L.A.S.T. prepares swimmers for the GH20 Swim Team and helps them find their “why” in the water as they rise to new challenges.
Ages: 5-14 years old

GH20
The GH20 Swim Team empowers children and teens to discover their strength; both in the water and in themselves; through skill-building, teamwork and positive coaching. Swimmers learn discipline, goal setting and perseverance as they work toward personal bests and celebrate shared achievements. By building confidence, character and lasting friendships, this program helps young athletes find their purpose and thrive in and beyond the pool.
Swimmers will be given a team cap at the beginning of each season. Swimmers must be members of the YMCA of Grays Harbor to be a team member.
Ages 5-14

USA
The YMCA USA Swim Team empowers young athletes to pursue personal excellence in the water while building confidence, discipline and lifelong healthy habits. Swimmers learn to balance school, family commitments, and training, developing strong time management skills and a commitment to proper rest, nutrition and mental preparation. Guided by our core values, team members grow as supportive teammates who uplift one another and strive toward their full potential together.
Ages: 13-18

As you focus on alignment and controlled, intentional flow, you’ll deepen your connection to your breath, develop resilience through instability and cultivate a sense of inner calm that carries into everyday life. Yoga BOGA invites you to challenge yourself, find your center and embrace the joy of moving with purpose. Perfect for all levels, whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just looking to try something new and refreshing.
